Many dogs love to ride in cars but sometimes become restless or nervous. This is because the vehicle is moving making it hard for your dog to keep his balance. If you have ever stood on a moving bus without a handhold, you know the feeling. Dogs can slip and fall which may cause bruising or injury. The problem is your dog can't tell you. He'll suffer in silence. Sometimes older dogs don't want to go for rides anymore and the owners don't know why. It may be because he got injured last time. He used to associate rides with new adventures and smells. Now he thinks of pain or discomfort from twisted ankles and bruises.
The fleece mat makes it easier for your dog to get traction. The soft material calms restless dogs because it feels like their beds.
The seat cover has an edge-to-edge non-slip backing to keep it from sliding or moving on the seat. Your dog isn’t afraid of slipping which lowers his anxiety.

Our mesh window is black, trimmed in black to blend in visually and maintain the good looks you’ve come to expect.
- METAL BUCKLES – To enable the hammock function, attach the front of the seat cover to the front seat headrests forming a sling or hammock so your dog doesn’t fall on the floor in emergency stops or hard cornering which could result in bruises, sprains or broken bones. A customer wrote that plastic buckles often break under the weight of larger dogs so we changed the FRONT buckles to an attractive gray METAL buckle that will support up to 150 lbs. Rear buckles are plastic because they don't need to support the dog's weight. The dog's weight is supported by the seat itself.
- LARGER VELCRO – We increased the size of the Velcro attachments of the mat for better adhesion to the seat cover. This is especially helpful for active dogs who like to paw at bedding or blankets before lying down.
- LARGE FRONT POCKET – We redesigned the front pocket to be more accessible and durable. Now you can store treats, dog toys, leashes in an easy-to-reach pocket.
All The Safety Features You Want and More
Leather Reinforcements strengthen the straps and prevent them from tearing away from the seat cover when transporting large dogs.
Oversized Seat Anchors. Those large white tubes are anchors that hold the seat cover in place. Tuck them into the crack in the seats to pull the seat cover tight for a form-fitted look. The seat anchors also keep the hammock portion from collapsing under the weight of your dog if he falls or ventures forward.
The back of the seat cover has been cross-stitched for a custom attractive appearance.
We added a large storage pocket for carrying accessories, treats, leashes, toys, bowls, etc.
Side Flaps drape over the seat sides to prevent scratches when your dog enters or leaves the vehicle. If you are buying a seat cover to protect your seats, you'll want to protect the sides too. Side Flaps are a must-have.

Seat Belt Access Slots allow access to the seat belts. The Velcro seals out dirt and pet hair from getting to the seats when you aren't using the seat belts.
Transporting passengers and your pet in the back seat is easy. Simply don't attach the dog hammock and use it as a basic seat cover. Let the front of the seat cover fall to the floor. The passenger can still use his seat belts and the dog can sit next to him on the seat. Without seat belt access, it would not be legal to let someone ride in the back.
Dog Seat Belt Leashes The Ultimate Dog Seat Cover includes two 22-inch Dog Seat Belt Leashes. Attach the leashes to your dog's harness and plug them into your seat belt receptacles. This will prevent your dog(s) from jumping to the front seat which can distract your driving or accidentally falling out of the window during trips. The leashes have a 2" tongue that fits most seat belt receptacles.
